adj + 到離晒譜 (absurdly / outrageously adj)

到離晒譜 (dou3 lei4 saai3 pou2) is a vivid intensifier meaning "to an outrageous degree". 離譜 alone means "absurd". Adding 晒 makes it even stronger. Very slangy.
貴到離晒譜！
gwai3 dou3 lei4 saai3 pou2!
Absurdly expensive!
慢到離晒譜。
maan6 dou3 lei4 saai3 pou2.
Outrageously slow.

連 A 都 B (even A also B)

連 (lin4)...都 (dou1) means "even A also does B". Emphasises that something extreme or unexpected is true. Creates a humorous or dramatic effect.
連阿媽都認唔出我。
lin4 aa3 maa1 dou1 jing6 m4 ceot1 ngo5.
Even my mum could not recognise me.
連狗都唔食。
lin4 gau2 dou1 m4 sik6.
Even a dog would not eat it.

Cantonese homophone taboos and wordplay

Cantonese culture avoids words that sound like unlucky things. 書 (syu1, book) sounds like 輸 (syu1, lose). 魚 (jyu2) sounds like 餘 (jyu4, surplus). This creates a rich system of puns and taboos.
送鐘 = 送終 (giving a clock = attending a funeral)
sung3 zung1 = sung3 zung1
Never give a clock as a gift — sounds like funeral rites
髮菜 = 發財 (black moss = get rich)
faat3 coi3 = faat3 coi4
Black moss is lucky because it sounds like prosperity

adj + 到爆 (extremely adj — slang intensifier)

到爆 (dou3 baau3) means "to the point of exploding". Another vivid slang intensifier. 正到爆 = incredibly awesome. 悶到爆 = incredibly boring. Youth slang.
開心到爆！
